Lowmac offer a service which allows all types of WEEE to be uplifted compliantly which includes:
- TVs
- Monitors (computers)
- Peripherals
- Power Tools
- Cables
- Electrical Appliances (including toys)
- Light Fittings
- Domestic Appliances (washing machines, dish washers, cookers etc)
TVs and Computer Monitors are classed as hazardous waste and must be dealt with compliantly due to the hazardous elements within the compliance.
A Consignment Note would have to be raised to allow for the safe and compliant removal and secure disposal of any TVs and Monitors.
The Consignment Note is a pre-requisite and SEPA must be informed at least 72 hours, three (3) working days, which does not include weekends, prior to any movement taking place.
